  Submission guidelines for Social Text

Direct all editorial correspondence to Social Text, Heyman Center for the Humanities, Columbia University, 2960 Broadway, MC 5730, New York, NY 10027. Submit manuscripts electronically as e-mail attachments in either Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format. Electronic submissions may be sent to the managing editor at socialtext@columbia.edu. Manuscripts must be no longer than 8,000 words, must be double-spaced, and must have numbered endnotes. Please follow The Chicago Manual of Style, fifteenth edition, using the humanities style of documentation. The author's name, affiliation, address, and telephone number should be listed on the front page of the manuscript. Mailed submissions should be sent in triplicate and are not returnable.
