Platform Migration for Duke University Press Humanities Titles

In January 2017 we begin the process of building and designing our online content in a new platform that will allow us to create a unified web presence for our books and journals. We are excited to partner with technology provider Silverchair Information Systems to provide an integrated user experience for all humanities and social sciences content from Duke University Press. We are committed to ensuring excellent functionality and a smooth transition.

Here are some of the benefits users will experience in our new digital publishing platform:

  1. The new platform will showcase both the variety and the cohesion of our highly interdisciplinary scholarship.
  2. Readers and researchers will have opportunities to discover related works and other content relevant to their interests.
  3. Users will have a highly intuitive experience as they move through the articles and books on the site.
  4. The site will be natively mobile, adapting seamlessly to devices of any size.
  5. Library administrators will benefit from a unified interface that allows them to manage all of their holdings in one place.

To ease the transition between platforms for you and your users, soon we will provide the following:

  1. press release
  2. frequently asked questions
  3. timeline
  4. customer checklist
  5. discovery tools

We will keep you informed of updates to this page if you add your e-mail to our list. If you opted out of the sign-up pop-up window, you can fill out the sign-up form below.
