How can I claim the 50% discount?

How can I pay?

All orders must be prepaid by credit card. Duke University Press accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. Combined Academic Publishers (CAP) also accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

Does the special sale only include books?

No. You may purchase in-stock single issues of our journals at a 50% discount as well.

Journal subscriptions and society memberships are excluded from the sale.

I live outside the United States. Can I take advantage of the 50% discount?

Combined Academic Publishers (CAP), our sales partners in the United Kingdom, are offering a 50% discount on Duke University Press titles using the coupon FALL2020. CAP maintains an inventory of Duke University Press titles in England. We strongly encourage customers residing outside North and South America  to order from CAP, as shipping times will be greatly reduced.

Is there a limit to the number of items I can order?

No.

Do you offer free shipping?

No. Our normal shipping rates apply during the sale.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Domestic orders normally ship within a few days via USPS media mail. Since March 2020, we have noticed increased shipping times for both domestic and international mail, related to the COVID-19 pandemic and changes at the United States Postal Service. Unfortunately these delays are outside our control.

I’m having a problem placing my order. What should I do?

Follow the steps above. If you are still having problems, please contact Duke University Press Customer Relations via phone during business hours (8 am to 5 pm Eastern Time) at 888-651-0122 or email orders@dukeupress.edu.

Customers ordering from CAP may direct questions to enquiries@combinedacademic.co.uk.
