Journal Issue Pages: 248 Volume 14, Number 2 Published: June 2020 An issue of East Asian Science, Technology and Society
Contributors to this special issue explore how to think and act with diagrams in the history and philosophy of science and technology. Through historical and contemporary examples and comparative studies of East and West, the authors examine the role of diagrammatic reasoning in knowledge formation and transmission, arguing that diagrammatic reasoning is a form of visual reasoning with at least two dimensions that takes place in space.
