Kim Steinle is the Library Relations and Sales Manager. Kim has worked at the Press for over 15 years and is responsible for institutional subscription revenue through the sale of electronic collections and through communication with the library community. Advocating for librarian interests in the development and implementation of pricing models is a priority for Kim. Kristen Twardowski is the Library Sales Coordinator. She oversees the Press’s renewals program, works with product development, and cultivates North American sales and consortia relationships. Before joining the publishing industry, she held positions at Oberlin College and Purdue University libraries.
Katja Moos is the Digital Collections Sales Manager. She holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a diploma in library science, academic libraries (Diplom-Bibliothekarin) from Hochschule für Bibliothekswesen in Stuttgart, Germany. Katja has worked at several companies providing services and software solutions to libraries, including OCLC, Innovative Interfaces and VTLS Inc., where she held positions in customer support and international sales.
Danielle Thibault is the Library Sales and Digital Access Coordinator. She provides support to the library sales team, handles access issues and other needs for electronic collections customers, and serves as the point of contact and expertise for all mathematics titles and collections.
Evan Watson is the Library Research Coordinator. He is responsible for sharing key metadata with partners and customers to ensure that Duke University Press publications are visible and discoverable in online systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Duke University Press in 2018, he worked in the customer service contact center industry and at UNC libraries.
Amanda Kolman is the Customer Relations Manager, where she manages a staff of digital access specialists and customer relations representatives. Before joining Duke University Press in 2013, she worked for Follett Higher Education Group.
Amber Cary is the Digital Access and Journals Specialist. She is a part of the Customer Relations team where she is responsible for providing support for librarians, agents, and consortia. She manages relationships and escalated access issues.
Patrick Coleff is the Digital Access and Books Specialist. He works as part of the Customer Relations Team and is the point of contact for e-Book Collections and other book-related products. In addition, he handles access and support issues, coordinating with the Marketing, Library Relations, and Accounting teams.
Mandy Brannon is the Library Marketing Outreach Manager. She works closely with the marketing and sales teams to prepare materials, coordinate our presence at library conferences, and manage our library advisory board. Mandy has a Master’s degree in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and she has experience working in libraries and information technology companies.
