Journals Publishing Program
Duke University Press is one of the top U.S.-based university presses, publishing over 60 journals in the humanities, social sciences, and math. Our foundational journals include American Literature, the Duke Mathematical Journal, the Hispanic American Historical Review, and the South Atlantic Quarterly. We publish other flagship journals in their fields, such as Environmental Humanities, GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies, History of Political Economy, the Journal of Asian Studies, the Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law, and the Philosophical Review.
While most of our titles are subscription-based, we also publish a portfolio of Platinum Open Access journals. We collaborate with editorial teams and societies worldwide, ensuring our journals are accessible internationally.
