This issue of Meridians upholds the journal’s core themes of feminism, race, and transnationalism through a collection of submissions curated by editor Ginetta E. B. Candelario. Soliciting works from scholars, culture workers, and activists living outside the United States and in languages other than English, Candelario braids together a collection of essays, poetry, memoir, testimonio, and culture works that document black women’s resistance and resilience to forms of intolerance and injustice that have reemerged at the center of everyday life around the world.
