Efforts to confront and reckon with colonial afterlives around the world have multiplied and accelerated in recent years. In this Special Issue we consider the task of dismantling extensive and networked structures of harm by thinking across reparative frameworks grounded in different theoretical, spatial, legal and material contexts. Challenging the connections between epistemic violence and material realities, the Special Issue considers how reparative discourses and practices involve translating repair across space-times, epistemologies and subjectivities.
