Mosaic

Bringing together scholarship and creative writing that exemplify Meridian’s commitment to knowledge production by and about women-of-color feminists addressing feminism, race, and transnationalism, contributors to this special issue present an intellectually engaging, global scholarly and artistic mosaic. Topics include critiques of mainstream feminism and how cultural activities from marginalized groups can be used to make it more inclusive, how the aftermath of mass shootings has disproportionate effects on those at the intersection of gender and racial minorities, and how Brahmanical supremacy affects the works of South Asian feminist academics.
