Music and Dance

Contributors to this special issue apply direct disciplinary perspectives of music theory and cognitive science to explore the multi-media phenomenon of choreomusicology. Seeking to bridge the disparate discourses of musicians and dancers, the authors explore many genres of music-dance, including historical social dance, ballet, modern dance, Norwegian folk dance, and Cuban salsa.
